Rules for the space we share
Effective August 24, 2026. These terms complement the community guidelines and privacy policy.
Information for the Omedso community. It is not a medical consultation, an emergency channel, or individual legal advice.
Provider, version and acceptance
OMEDSO S.A.S., tax ID 1391936412001, Portoviejo, Manabí, Ecuador, operates Omedso. This is version 2.1, effective August 24, 2026. Creating a profile or posting is electronic acceptance; privacy, marketing and any model training require separate consent.
Service scope
Omedso is a wellbeing social network operated by OMEDSO S.A.S. It provides profiles, posts, comments, supports, private saves, notifications, relationships, communities, and one-to-one text messages after a prior request. It does not provide medical care, create a clinician-patient relationship, replace Consulta Médica or Omedso Pro, or handle emergencies.
Your responsibility when posting
Post only content you may lawfully share. Do not disclose medical records, identification, third-party data without permission, personalized diagnoses, prescriptions, fraud, harassment, hate, impersonation, or content that creates a health risk. A public audience means open access.
Ownership and limited license
You keep your rights in your content. By posting, you grant Omedso a non-exclusive, worldwide license limited to hosting, reproducing, displaying, and moderating that content to operate Omedso until deletion, except minimal copies required for security or law. You do not authorize its use to train clinical models.
Moderation and appeals
Omedso may label, limit, or remove content and suspend accounts to enforce these rules. Sensitive decisions record their reason and scope; you may request a second review. Good-faith reports do not reveal your identity to the reported author.
What verification means
A badge means identity and credentials were checked by an authorized source and remain within their validity period. It does not turn every post into medical advice, certify outcomes, or create Omedso sponsorship.
Health and emergencies
Members' experiences are personal and may not apply to you. Use authorized professionals and clinical channels for health decisions. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services; do not wait for a Omedso response.
Accounts, changes, and termination
Keep public information honest and protect your access. Omedso may limit functions in response to abuse or risk and will visibly notify material changes to these terms. You may stop using Omedso and request profile deletion under the privacy policy.
